This event is a lapping, testing and tuning track day. No racing allowed, passing is allowed if you are on the straight-a-way and passing cars must yield the right of way.

Each class will be separated accordingly. You must have a helmet and have a mechanically sound car. We will have track instructors on hand and assigned to beginners for their benefit. Please take advantage of this option. Each class group will have a 20 minute track session and will rotate accordingly. There will be a limit of 12 cars per session.

Beginners will be taken on the track by a pace car to get a feel for the circuit prior to running the course.

We will also have flag staff and safety equipment on hand. In case the inevitable does happen, we will have an ambulance on stand by near pit row.

Safety is our number one concern. Any individual breaking track rules, being a general dumb ass, or has compromised the safety of the track and its participants in any way, will escorted to the gates by security.

We look forward to your participation in this years track event.

What is a Solo2?

Solo2, also known as “AutoSlalom” or “Autocross”, is a low-cost "grassroots" motorsport discipline that allows almost anyone to enjoy the thrill of automotive competition in a safe, controlled, and legal environment.

A Solo2 event consists of competitors driving through a “race course” laid out using pylons on a large parking lot or other paved surface. Because the vehicles race independently of each other, at no time can there be contact with another competitor. This reduces the risks considerably, allowing the drivers to concentrate on threshold braking and precision cornering.

Each run is electronically timed. Striking a pylon results in a 2sec penalty added to the drivers time. The fastest driver in each class is the winner..

Almost any driver can participate in almost any car, no matter the age, the make, the model, or the modifications that have been done to the vehicle.

Saturday is going to be one BUSY day!!  So no crazy drinking Friday night guys...  you don't want to be hurting the next day!!  You know who you are ;-)

Recently, one of our instructors who will be designing the course had a local event at the air field, and here is a sneak preview!!

The course in this video is rather complicated. It was connecting several element we used in the morning for training.

The course for K2007 will be both simpler (for those with little autocross experience) and shorter. Average times were in the 70sec range. We'll be shooting for just shy of 60sec.

ACTUAL SITE VIDEO HERE:  An example solo2 course

And for a fun little tour to get to the course. Gives a feeling how big and old this place is....

ACTUAL SITE VIDEO HERE:    A cruise into the Airfield

Folks, one thing I must warn you guys about, is that this location is all OPEN, it's an AIR FIELD!!  that means if it's too hot, it's going to be rally hot, with no shades around.  I would suggest people to bring hats, sunscreen and any kind of protection you can!!  Cause it's going to be a HOT ONE!!

We are also planning to have food catered onsite, but plan to bring some munchies and drinks with you....
